Chapter 22 – Chemical Coordination And Integration
Chemical Coordination and Integration is an important chapter in Class 11 Biology that explains how hormones regulate and coordinate body functions. Unlike the nervous system, which acts quickly, the endocrine system works through chemical messengers called hormones that produce slower but long-lasting effects.
This chapter focuses on the endocrine glands such as the pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands, pancreas, pineal gland, and gonads.
